Description

Human Trafficking: Understanding and responding to it within your community

Human trafficking continues to greatly impact our children, youth, families and communities, so I ask you, when is enough...enough? Given that there are well over 100, 000 children and youth being forced into forced into sex trafficking within the United States of America, we can no longer believe that is someone else’s responsibility to take action. This summit will focus on what makes up this multi-billion dollar industry, as well as what individuals and community groups can do to combat it.

Presenters include representatives from DCFS, FBI, and a grassroots organization.
